PSP LCD screen QUESTIONS?

My PSP suffered some DAMGAN. PSP will start here and I can turn on but the screen does not light. If I tilt the screen up a little I can do what is on the screen is totally not turn on the screen. Do I need a new LCD? Or is there something else I should replace
